I don't mind what they call their son, but I really hope and wish the don't use any of the names on the gamblers list.
I know quite a few people who were named after William and Harry, apparently it was in the in thing to do. On the other hand I'm still peeved that a famous family named their daughter after ours, terribly uncool! :lol:

Lol, we have a guy come into work named R.ichard P.uller, and yes he does use a four letter nickname! Two brothers that come in are called A.ndrew and P.eter Ness. When you use just their first initials and last name it's interesting lol.:

My husband loves the name James for our bub if it's a boy (I'm not won over). He might change his mind if the royal bub is named this as he hates popular or fashionable names!

I think it's lovely. Very traditional. Although I too wish they used spencer it would have been a lovely nod to his mum. Although now I only hoe they have a girl next and call her peppa :-p

I don't like George as a name that much but I don't mind it and I think it's an understandable choice. Spencer seems like a fairly modern name to me and I can't see them going for it. They seem fairly traditional. Just cause your parent passes away doesn't mean you need to use a name for them, you know? I also notice they don't seem to have a name that represents Kate's side of the family. To me, this name is all about this little boy and the fact that he is heir to the throne.
I was kind of hoping that they would break from tradition. I'm just happy he now has a name! I'm sure there will be lots of little George's in the next few years ;)

I like his name, so many parents are already going back to those type of names that if they were anyone else noone would blink an eyelid at calling him George. Considering he has three names and they tend to get a lot more they could have put in something for the Spencer side and/or Kates side, but why? I don't think a name needs to include a lot of family references and it sounds lovely as it is.
I am glad though that they didn't choose any of our names!
